Expensive sports equipment stolen from Sutton

Thieves have stolen expensive sports equipment in two separate incidents in Sutton.

Sporting equipment including a Hillman golf caddy, a full set of Ben Sayers golf clubs and a pair of black size eight golf shoes were taken from a blue Vauxhall Astra yesterday (13th October).

Between 4am and 7.30am the equipment was taken from the car parked near the Diamond Club, in Stoney Street.

Thieves smashed the window to get to the items and a Sony car radio was also taken.

Later the same day a black and yellow Carrera Tour de France racing bike was also taken from a shed in Spa Close.

PCSO Thomas Nuttall said: “If you know about these thefts or you have seen someone with these items then we want to hear from you.

“Please keep your eyes open and get in touch if you have any information that could help the investigation.”

It is thought the burglary took place between 12pm and 4pm. The bike had the number 10825605 etched on the frame.
