A LANDSCAPE photography exhibition is on display for visitors to Southwell Minster throughout August.
The exhibition, which opened on the 30th July and will run until 30th August, showcases the work of landscape and travel photographer David Noton and eight other acclaimed photographers.
Titled ‘Masters of Visions’, the exhibition brings together an established master in the field with other photographers, including some emerging talent, allowing them to exhibit their work alongside each other.
Photographer and writer Pete Bridgwood created the exhibition, and he said this week: “I wanted to create something spectacular, something that will bring visitors to Southwell.
“Each photographer has been given carte blanche to choose and hang images as they wish and design their own section of gallery space. There will be an eclectic mix of differing presentations.”
Pete Bridgwood attended the opening event to meet visitors, and the day ended with an audio-visual presentation by David.
David has taken photographs across the world in the past 24 years and has had his work featured in numerous publications and books.
Other photographers include Chris Upton, Mark Gould, Dav Thomas, Jonathan Horrocks, Damien Demolder, Chris Friel and Steve Watkins.
The exhibition is open daily from 7am-7pm. Entry is free, but donations to the cathedral are welcome.
