DOZENS of people are still in emergency accommodation after fire tore through a shed containing gas canisters in Selston.
Fire crews and police evacuated 56 people within 200m of the fire on Nottingham Road in the village, which broke out at around 2am on Monday morning.
Two people have been taken to hospital as a precaution. No-one else is thought to have been hurt.
Firefighters now have the blaze under control and are monitoring temperatures on site to decide when to lift the cordon.
Nottingham Road remains closed in the village between its junctions with Langton Hollow and Mansfield Road.
