Nottinghamshire-based ERF Electrical put together a World Cup 2022 football campaign for its Electrical Installer customers throughout the Midlands.

Andy Laycock, ERF managing director, said: “Lots of our customers engaged in fantasy league, photo competitions and promotions, but we wanted to go further than just a promotion and give something back to the communities.

“As a family business, what better way than to team up with local football clubs and their school’s programme, which sees them introducing school students to players, skills and support through equipment.”

Laycock also pointed to a number of new exciting customer initiatives, such as order online; a new sustainability range of products and new fixings, all available in flip books on their website.

Gary Shaw, Stags community manager said, “Personally, I thought it was a great gesture that a local business is willing to donate equipment within the local community and I would gladly help and assist with any future plans.”

Liam Combellack, of ERF, said: “I hope we can continue to work together again in the future.

“We obviously hope some of the youngsters go on to play football professionally, but equally some might become customers, perhaps as qualified electricians.

"We are looking to do more of these schemes to help support the next generation.”
