Students from Ashfield School took to the stage to perform a rendition of the famous American stage-show, Little Shop of Horrors.

The week began with the school treating some primary schools to a free viewing of the show, and the audience was buzzing with excitement as they filed out after the show.

Over 200 pupils auditioned, with only 30 landing roles in the production.

Kieran Kourdache took the starring role of Seymour Krelborn and was supported by Paige Nussey (Audrey), Dominic Allanson (Dentist), Luke Denman (Mr Mushnik) and Ross Johnson (Audrey II), as well as a cast of singers, dancers and supporting actors, ranging in age from 11-18.

They were assisted by the production team, consisting of teachers Bryan Sluman, Thomas Atkins, Jack Helan and Mel Turner, and a team of volunteers.
