Watch manager Rob Mosley and firefighter Bev Bridgewater have been presented with Chief Fire Officer Commendations by the Chief Fire Officer at Bolsover station for their quick actons.

The two firefighters used their first aid skills to help save a pedestrian's life after the casualty had been in a collision with a car, according to Derbyshire fire service.

Both were praised for their life-saving intervention and actions.
