Drunk Sutton man ordered to pay £1,051 to have pub till fixed

A drunk man who damaged a pub till after he was refused service was ordered to pay more than £1,051 to have it fixed.

Unemployed Robbie Bowler (27) of Carnarvon Grove, Sutton admitted causing criminal damage during a hearing at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court.

He had gone into the Picture House pub on Fox Street on 7th February at around 3.30pm.

He was refused service because of a previous incident in the pub, and the manager was called.

Following a argument he then leaned over the counter and ripped the till from its fixing.

When questioned by police he admitted on a scale of drunkenness, with 10 being inebriated, he was 9/10.
