Drunk man apologises for peeing on bank

A Mansfield man has admitted being drunk and disorderly after being caught urinating against the HSBC bank in Mansfield Town Centre.

Robert Carr, prosecuting, told Mansfield magistrates how Daniel Jessop (37), of Gordon Avenue, was asked by police officers to stop and became instantly aggressive.

Jessop was arrested after swaying unsteadily on his feet and shouting ‘I will knock your heads off’, and ‘take your uniforms off and I will fight you all’, to the officers.

The Mansfield man, who was unrepresented in court, said: “I was in a drunken state really. I am sorry about that. It will not happen again.”

Jessop was given a conditional discharge for being drunk and disorderly and made to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
