Driving ban for drunk biker

Jason Dean (22) of Lord Street, was banned from driving for 17 months when he appeared before Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 2nd July.
He had fallen from his motorbike in the early hours of 15th June after he swerved to avoid a dead fox and fell from Yamaha in Chesterfield Road South, the court heard.

Hide AdAs his bike was damaged and Dean had suffered minor injuries, he called the police for help. Officers then breathalysed Dean and discovered he was over the limit.
Dean, who was ordered to pay a total of £195 in fines and costs, said that he had been drinking earlier in the evening but thought he was under the limit and gone for a ride.
