Drivers warned of severe motorway traffic
Motorists are being warned to steer clear of severe traffic on the M1 this morning (October 5).
Roadworks, between junctions 28 (Alfreton) and 30 (Barlborough), have caused stop-start traffic due to the 50mph speed restrictions and narrow lanes.
People travelling in both directions should expect delays.
