Drivers warned of delays on M1 after vehicle catches fire on motorway near Mansfield

Drivers are being warned of delays on the M1 this morning, after a vehicle caught fire on the motorway near Mansfield.

National Highways say one lane of the M1 southbound, between junctions 29 (Chesterfield / Mansfield) to J28 A38 (Alfreton / Mansfield), is closed due to a vehicle fire.

There are reports of very slow traffic and delays for drivers using the motorway this morning.
