Driver released on bail as enquiries into Nottinghamshire fatal crash ongoing

British Transport Police said the man was released pending investigation into the incident that took place in Babworth.
On Friday (November 20), a cyclist died after a collision with a car at a level crossing in Babworth at 8.33am.

East Midlands Ambulance Service deployed paramedics in two ambulance cars and a crewed ambulance together with an air ambulance.
However, the cyclist could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident, which occurred at a level crossing between Doncaster and Retford, had caused all rail lines to be closed.
