Drink driver was three times over the limit

Kamil Rzeznik was spotted by police as his Audi car veered across the road at just 10 miles an hour on July 18.

Rzenik, 35 of Armstrong Road was breathalised and found to have 105mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath after he was stopped on Newgate Lane at 12.30am. The legal limit is 35mcg.

He told officers he had visited a friend to commiserate with him over a broken relationship and they had got drunk.

He was disqualified from driving for 24 months, fined £230, a £150 criminal court charge and a £23 victim surcharge.
