Dress-making drive from Garibaldi students

Talented textile students at Garibaldi College have been creating dresses to send to youngsters in Africa.

The Year 9 youngsters have been making the sun dresses for the international charity ‘Dress a girl around the world’.

The students worked in teams to produce three garments per team and also held bake sales to help fund the project.

A school spokesman said: “We are very proud of what they have achieved.”
