Dramatic pictures show firefighters tacking out-of-control bonfire

Firefighters were called to a fire in the open in Shirebrook – believed to be an unattended bonfire.

Crews from Shirebrook Fire Station were called to the incident.

A station spokesman said: “Crews were mobilised to a fire in the open in Shirebrook.

“This is believed to be a Bonfire left unattended which had began to spread.”

The bonfire had begun to spread.

Crews used one hose-real jet to put the fire out.
