Doyle’s Coaches go into administration

Public transport users across Mansfield and Ashfield are now being carried by different buses following the demise of Doyle’s Coaches.

The company, which has operated in Nottinghamshire since 2003, went into administration last week.

A spokesman for transport at Nottinghamshire County Council said all of the company’s routes had been replaced.

He added: “Fares in Mansfield may change to be in line with the commercial routes, but weekly and season tickets will now be available.

“All other fares should remain as before.

“The priority is to prioritise school services and access to employment first, then access to health and essential shopping.”

Timetables remain the same apart from 4, 19,331 and 332.
