Diversions on A1 following accident
A serious collision between two cars on the A1 this morning is causing delays.
At around 8.30am two cars collided on the southbound carriageway, close to the A57 Worksop turn off, leading to the closure of the north and southbound carriageway.
All emergency services attended.
Police have advised that drivers heading north should get off at the Appleby interchange, and drivers heading south should come off at the A1 at Ranby.
One person has been taken to hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
