Derbyshire: Moped rider seriously injured in A38 collision
A moped rider is being treated for serious injuries after an accident on a busy road last night (Thursday, December 11).
The accident occurred on the northbound carriageway of the A38 near to the Alfreton exit at 7.50pm.
The female casualty, who was driving a Yamaha moped displaying an ‘L’ plate, was taken to Nottingham Queen’s Medical Centre.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or the moped travelling along the A38 is asked to ring Derbyshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 684/111214.
