Delays on M1 after serious accident
A serious accident is causing severe delays for commuters on roads leading to the M1 this morning.
The accident happened before 8am on the southbound carriageway near junction 29.
The knock-on effect of the incident is continuing, however, on the roads around the junction.
The Highways Agency said an hour ago that the recovery was now complete and tailbacks should be clearing.
