Theatre bosses are on the look-out for budding young dancers to take part in the panto Aladdin, at Mansfield’s Palace Theatre.

UK Productions will be holding auditions for both juvenile and senior dancers, who will be required for rehearsals from November 16th to 27th for performance November 28th to January 3rd.

In the juvenile section, they are looking for two sets of eight children aged seven to 11 years, no taller that 4’8”.

For the seniors, they need four boys and two girls aged over 16 and no shorter than 5’2”.

Dance schools can submit up to 24 children, but no less than 12 at auditions.

Two different schools will be chosen for the pantomime, each supplying eight children.

Schools will be expected to provide licensed chaperones for the rehearsals and performance schedule.

Should any dance school have pupils they would like to audition, teachers should present them at the Palace Theatre, Leeming Street, Mansfield on Wednesday June 3rd, at 2pm for seniors and 4pm for juveniles.
