Dance show success for Macmillan
Young performers from a Hucknall dance school are in a spin after raising £800 for Macmillan Cancer Care.
The money was raised through ticket sales from the dance show as well as a raffle held on the night at the town’s John Godber Centre in August.
Summers in Time, which runs from St John’s Community Hall, Hucknall, has been established for over two and a half years.

Hide Ad“The show was spectacular,” said school principal, Catherine Dore, 20. “I am so proud of all my dancers and their parents for all their overwhelming commitment and support.
“Raising £800 for Macmillan, which was a collective choice of parents, is something we can be proud of as a dance school.”
During the show, youngsters aged 2-16 performed many dance styles to a proud audience.
