Cyclist airlifted to hospital after Hardwick crash
The Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance was called to the grounds of the stately home at 4.05 on Saturday, March 25.
A spokesman said: "We were called to the grounds of Hardwick Hall on Saturday afternoon and were on the scene at 4.05pm, just 15 mins after getting the call. A patient had come off a bike in the grounds and had suffered a back injury. Our crew treated the patient – a man in his 20s - at the scene and flew him to hospital."

Hide AdAn EMAS spokeswoman said: "We received a call at 3.11pm on Saturday to reports that someone had fallen off their push-bike. We sent a paramedic, a fast response vehicle a crewed ambulance and the patient was taken to hospital by air ambulance with what we believe were non-life threatening injuries."
