Curfew for addict who stole goods from car

A Sutton drug addict has been given a curfew after admitting stealing items from an unlocked car.

Carl Patrick Limb (31) of Alfreton Road, Sutton, admitted theft when he appeared before Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on 3rd September.

He was back in court on Wednesday 10th September where he also admitted breaching his bail conditions on 9th September.

The court heard that Limb had stolen items including a cheque book, sat nav, and wallet from a Landrover Discovery vehicle on 21st August.

Limb had a long history of drugs use but had not been in trouble since 2008 when he was jailed for 33 months, the court heard.

He was given a three-month curfew and ordered to pay £145 in costs and charges.
