Celebrity stars including Matthew Wolfendon from Emmerdale, and Nicole Marie, from the X-Factor, were booked to make an appearance at the carnival.

Scarecrows lined the streets adorning Dennis the Menace outfits and astronaut attire.

The carnival queen was still crowned and scarecrow winners announced but the group hopes to hold the carnival next year.
