Now a Crowfunding campaign to help replace the stock that was taken has been launched.

The description on the page states: “John Hadlow is a independent retailer and good friend who has a real love for all things sci-fi. He owns and runs a Mansfield based shop which sadly was broken into and emptied of all his stock!

“As is the story in most things the police has very little go on and John’s insurance requires he pay the first £100. Now this may not sound a lot but when something like this happens, £100 may as well be £1million. He is such a great guy who works hard to support his family.

“If we can raise £500 for John that will put them on a good footing for paying the excess and getting back in business.”
