Woman injured in attack outside her Ashfield home

The incident happened as the victim returned to her Edward Street home from work at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, March 10.
Police say the victim suffered cuts to her face and hand during the terrifying robbery, which saw her attacked from behind and struck around the head.

Hide AdShe had a quantity of money stolen and was taken to King’s Mill Hospital for treatment.
PC Lisa Shields said: "We are working hard to establish the full circumstances of this incident and checking CCTV footage as part of our ongoing enquiries.
"The victim is clearly very distressed and shook-up following the incident.
"Nottinghamshire Police were called to Edward Street in Kirkby-in-Ashfield at around 9.30pm on March 10 2021 following the report of the robbery.
