Woman hospitalised and man arrested on suspicion of GBH in Mansfield

A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a woman was hospitalised during a Mansfield "disturbance".

Officers were called to Trowell Court just before 7.45pm yesterday (Saturday, November 16).

A woman was taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries is currently unknown.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.

Detective Inspector Natasha Todd, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident and there will be a police presence in the area as officers continue with their investigations.
