Who is he? Police need your help identifying man after sexual assault in Nottinghamshire

Police are keen to speak to this man pictured in connection with a sexual offence in Nottinghamshire.

The incident happened on October 5 2019 when a woman walked along Beeston Road, Nottingham at around 2.45am.

An unknown man approached her and complimented her before sexually assaulting her.

The man then fled the scene.

DC Paul Crofts, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "We've obtained local CCTV footage, and although we acknowledge that they aren't the greatest images, we hope someone might recognise the man.

"The suspect is described as an Asian male aged approximately 20 years old, 5’5” tall with short black hair with a small quiff with facial hair. The victim described that the man had a UK accent.

"If you can help, have any information or witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time we'd like to hear from you. Please call 101, quoting incident number 92 of October 5 2019."
