Ashley Stirland heard a commotion and found a group of ‘around 20’ children destroying the fence around the skate park. He said the group swore at him and laughed when confronted.

Ashley, who has lived in Warsop for three years, took to social media to vent his frustration and urged parents to keep an eye on their children.

Ashley described his shock at the age of the culprits, who were ‘as young as seven, to about 16.’

Chief Inspector Kathryn Craner, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "We recognise that anti-social behaviour is an important issue to individuals and communities.

"We treat incidents of anti-social behaviour seriously and take positive action where offences are detected.
