Warsop murder: Four people remanded to appear at Crown Court

THE wife of Warsop man Cliff Collinge (61) has been remanded in custody by Mansfield magistrates, accused of his murder.

On Thursday morning Charlotte Collinge (44) was one of four people to be sent to Nottingham Crown Court. No pleas were taken and no applications for bail were made.

The body of 61-year-old Clifford Collinge was found at his home in Sandy Lane shortly after 10pm on Saturday.

Charged with his murder are:

Charlotte Emma Victoria Collinge (44), of Sandy Lane, Warsop; Stephen David Shreeves (39), of Laurel Avenue, Church Warsop; Kelvin Scott Dale (27), of Forest Road, Warsop, and Robert Proud (36), of Greendale Close, Warsop.

Dale and Proud have also been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm to a 36-year-old man.

A post-mortem examination on Monday proved inconclusive and further tests will be carried out to establish the exact cause of Mr Collinge’s death.
