Police investigating a burglary in Kirkby have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to.

Officers were called to reports that a man had entered a house on Vernon Road at around 3.25am on Saturday March 17, but was disturbed and ran off.

Police would like to speak to the man in the video in connection with the incident.

The man in the footage is described as white, in his 20s, of a tall, slim build with short, strawberry blonde that was longer on top and slicked back. He was wearing a navy blue zip-up sweat top and blue jeans.
