Valuables warning as cars are targeted

Car owners are being reminded by police again to remove valuable items from cars following a number of thefts in recent weeks.

A satnav, an iPhone, a lock box containing medication and even loose change have been taken from three vehicles in the space of a few days.

A car was entered on Peafield Lane, Mansfield Woodhouse, on 13th February, a broken-down vehicle on Mansfield’s Fisher Lane was broken into a day later and then a car on Recreation Street in Mansfield was targeted on 18th February.
