Police are appealing for any information after a bag was snatched at 3pm yesterday (Sunday July 19) near to Mansfield Bus Station.The victim was out shopping near Quaker Way when two men ran up behind her and grabbed the bag off her shoulder, yanked at it and tugged the bag out of her arms before running off with it.

Det Con Anthony Hewitt said: "Obviously the victim is really shaken up by the incident. We hope someone can get in touch with us so we can track down the offenders.

"Thankfully the victim suffered no injuries, but a purse including bank cards were stolen, as well as a wallet and cash.”

"The men were white, around 5ft 10in and slim build. One man had a brown ponytail, the other wore a cap.

“Call 101, quoting incident number 478 of 19 July 2020."
