Two men shot in Bulwell: Boy charged
A boy is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court charged in connection with a double shooting
The charge relates to a report of a double shooting in the Bulwell and Top Valley areas at around midnight on the evening of Tuesday June 16.
Two men were taken to hospital for treatment for single gunshot wounds to their legs after Nottinghamshire Police were called to Hucknall Road.
Both men have since been discharged from hospital.
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Detective Inspector Ruby Burrow, who is leading the investigation into the double shooting, said: “We are pleased to have made good progress in our investigation.
“A boy and a man who were also arrested in connection with this incident have been released on bail.”
