A 14-year-old boy was one victim targeted for his bicycle. He was pushed and knocked to the ground before his bike was taken during an incident at Bestwood County Park in Moor Road, Bestwood at around 3.40pm on July 4.

In another robbery on Bentinck Street, Sutton, on July 2, two teenagers, aged 16 and 18, were threatened and both had their bikes taken from them.

Two men, aged 19 and 20 were arrested on Wednesday, July 7, on suspicion of robbery. They were further arrested in relation to two burglaries.

A house in Midlame Gardens, Bulwell was broken into overnight on June 29 and a handbag, purse, jewellery and car keys were taken before the car was stolen from the driveway.

A car was stolen in similar circumstances from Linette Close, Sherwood Rise, overnight on 1 June along with a smart tablet.

Detective Sergeant Matt Dumbrell, of Nottinghamshire's criminal investigation department, said: "We've been carrying out robust enquiries in since these incidents happened and now have arrested two men who remain in police custody.

"Burglaries and robberies are taken extremely seriously and we will always carry out a thorough investigation in a bid to uncover who may be responsible,

DC Dumbrell added "To be victim to an incident like this can be extremely distressing and we won't tolerate these crimes in Nottinghamshire."
