Three men questioned over high value lorry thefts in Annesley

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of stealing of around £167,000 of goods from lorries in Nottinghamshire.

The men, aged 19, 23 and 42, were arrested on the M1 near Tibshelf at around 4.40am this morning (Thursday 27th February).

They are suspected of stealing £157,000 worth of perfume from a lorry in Sentinel Drive, in Sherwood Business Park, Annesley, on 30th January.

They are also suspected of taking 67 boxes of shoes, worth around £10,000, from a lorry in the same location on 12th February.

The suspects, who are from the West Yorkshire area, are in police custody and will be interviewed by detectives today.
