Thieves steal Audi RS3 after break-in at village near Mansfield

Thieves made off with an Audi RS3 after breaking into a house in Edwinstowe in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police were called to Thoresby Drive at around 3am after the car was spotted being stolen by a group of people.

It is believed they had broken into the house before opening the garage to take the vehicle.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to get in touch.

Det Sgt Gary Hewson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Burglary can have a devastating impact on victims both financially and psychologically and we will always look to take appropriate action against offenders.

“This incident saw a grey Audi RS3 taken from a garage and we are now working to understand the circumstances.”
