A round-up of people who have received prison sentences at courts in Nottinghamshire.

Offences range from shoplifting and cannabis production to sexual assault and murder.

Caden Crossley, aged 29, formerly of Leeds, pleaded guilty to rape, assault by penetration and sexual assault and was given a 12 year extended sentence. Crossley, who is already serving a five-year jail sentence after he was convicted of firearms offences in March 2023, will also be the subject of a sexual harm prevention order that will restrict his activities when he is released from prison. Steven McNally, now aged 67, formerly of Ireland, was found guilty of: eleven counts of indecent assault on a child, seven counts of indecent assault on a child on no fewer than five occasions, three counts of indecency with a child, two counts of indecency with a child on no fewer than five occasions and one count of buggery on a person under 16. He was sentenced to 26 years in prison plus a one-year extended licence period. He was told he will serve a minimum 17 years before he can apply to the Parole Board to be released on licence.
