Sutton shoplifters to spend Christmas behind bars after conviction

A pair of Sutton shoplifters will spend Christmas behind bars this year after they were convicted of multiple offences.

Mia Godber and Kyle Broom, both from Sutton, who were charged with a series of shoplifting crimes have been convicted by the courts, following their arrest by Ashfield police last week.

The pair were handed a sentence of 60 days, meaning they will spend Christmas in jail.

One Facebook user commented: “Good job done, also sends a message to others who feel the need to steal from shops.”
