Sutton man charged with crack dealing offences after stop and search

A man from Sutton-in-Ashfieled is due to appear in court after being charged with drug offences.

The 20-year-old man has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (crack cocaine) and also criminal damage to a police cell.

Bradley Hardy, of Willowbridge Court in Sutton-in-Ashfield has been remanded in custody and is due in Nottingham Crown Court tomorrow (23 November 2020).

Hardy was arrested after officers from the force's Knife Crime Team spotted a man in the area and conducted a stop search.

Neighbourhood Inspector Mark Dickson said: "Nottinghamshire Police takes drugs offences very seriously and will thoroughly investigate all reports made.

"This was an excellent spot and arrest by the Knife Crime Team.
