Speeding motorists targeted in Ashfield village

Kirkby police officers carried out an operation targeting speeding motorists in Annesley Cutting on Wednesday.

Officers from the Kirkby Neighbourhood Police Team (NPT) say they were on patrol in the village following concerns from residents about bad driving – particularly at the end of the school day.

A number of motorists were pulled over for speeding, including an individual who had no MOT.
