Shirebrook man made threats to kill two other men to police officers

A Shirebrook man who repeatedly made threats to kill two other men to police officers has been given a suspended prison sentence.

Duncan Elmore, 28, of Springfield Avenue, was arrested and subsequently charged with the offence following an incident on Alder Way, Shirebrook, on Friday, November 9.

He appeared at Chesterfield Justice Centre on Monday, November 26 and pleaded guilty.

Magistrates gave Elmore an 18 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and he was also ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
