Shirebrook drug dealer is jailed after cannabis raid

A Shirebrook man has been jailed this month for drug offences after cannabis plants were seized.

Stephen Hartnett, 53, was recently found guilty of possession with intent to supply and the cultivation of cannabis.

Officers carried out a search at a property on Station Road, Shirebrook, in August, 2014. Police seized 14 cannabis plants, drugs paraphernalia and cash.

Hartnett, of Station Road, Shirebrook, was sentenced to six months of imprisonment at Derby Crown Court on Thursday, April 23.
