Officers swooped on the property in Collins Avenue on Tuesday (January 14) as part of an intelligence-led operation.

Five men, aged 38, 36, 30, 24 and 23, along with a 36-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences.

They have each been interviewed and released under investigation while police carry out further investigations and await forensic results.

Police raided a home on Collins Avenue, Sutton.

The 16-year-old has also been referred to Nottinghamshire Police's new County Lines Team for safeguarding interventions.

Inspector Craig Hall, district commander for the Ashfield district, said: "Drug supply is a serious offence which can blight communities with associated crimes including violence, robbery, burglary and anti-social behaviour.

"Our communities don't want these types of crime on their doorsteps and we are extremely grateful to those who help tackle it by reporting any issues in their neighbourhoods.

"Our ultimate aim is to keep people safe and, whether that's by prosecuting drug dealers or supporting vulnerable people to break free from a particular lifestyle, the information we receive is vital to allow us to take action."

If you have concerns about drug dealing in your neighbourhood, you should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101.
