Police are appealing for information after a number of sheds were broken into at allotments in Riddings.

They were targeted sometime between Sunday, February 16 and Monday, February 17 at the site off Slack Lane.

Several sheds were targeted, but not all the owners have come forward. Nothing has been reported to police as stolen so far.

People are advised to make sure that any sheds or outbuildings are secure, with a good quality lock and alarm if possible, and that any valuable property inside is security marked.

Anyone with any information, or who may have seen anything suspicious, should contact PC Mark Gibbs on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
