Here are the latest reports from Mansfield Magistrates’ Court:

Criminal damage

Esmond Eric Wilson (27) of Besthorpe Court, Mansfield, admitted damaging a car window to the value of £20 and was sent to prison for eight weeks. He was also banned from driving for a year after admitting driving without insurance, without a licence, failing to report an accident, failing to give a name and address, driving without due care and attention, damaging a Vauxhall Corsa and damaging a Fiat Punto;

Keegan Tibbit Garland (20) of Brake View, New Ollerton, admitted damaging a window worth £250, and was given a community order and made to pay £250 compensation.

Theft

Shantelle Louise Dawson (28) of Shirland Drive, Mansfield, admitted stealing £123 worth of protein supplements from Tesco, tins of fish from B&M, and wallets and T-shirts from TK Maxx worth £68. She was given an 18-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months;

Michael Leslie Newton (35) of David Street, Kirkby, admitted stealing razor blades worth £45 from Co-op in Pinxton, £60 worth of crisps from Iceland and assaulting a female. He was given a community order with a drugs rehabilitation requirement, and to pay £85 compensation in total;

Adam Paul Billyeald (34) of Foston Close, Mansfield, admitted stealing computer equipment worth £189 from Tesco in Ollerton and was given an eight-week jail term, suspended for 12 months, £85 costs and an £80 surcharge.

Violence

Jordan Lee Haynes (25) of Felton Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse, was found guilty of assaulting a police officer after a trial of assaulting a police officer. He was given a community order with 12 weeks curfew, pay £300 compensation, £300 costs and a £60 surcharge.

Mitchell Ross Brown (23) of Ocean Drive, Warsop, admitted assaulting a female and was given 60 hours community service, made to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and a £60 surcharge;

Johnathan Stuart Paddon (36) of Kitchener Drive, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a female, damaging a coffee table and a Skoda, and was jailed for 12 weeks and made to pay an £80 surcharge.

Motoring

Benjamin John Jones (26) of Lake Avenue, Mansfield, admitted driving without a licence and insurance, obstructing a police officer, possession of cannabis, and speeding. He was banned from the road 12 months, fined £50, told to pay £170 costs, and a £60 surcharge.

Julie May Allen (51) of Meden Bank, Stanton Hill, was found guilty of driving a Chevrolet at 38mph in a 30mph and was fined £200, given three points and made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge. The case was proved in her absence;

Miley Connors (33) of Kirkby Lane, Pinxton, was found guilty of two counts of driving a van that exceeded its lawful weight. He was fined £1,000 in total, made to pay £85 costs and a £100 surcharge. The case was proved in his absence;

Tony Fowler (45) of Jephson Road, Sutton, was found guilty of not wearing a seatbelt while driving a Ford Transit. He was fined £200 and made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge. The case was proved in his absence;

Miroslav Mravik (44) of York Street, Sutton, was found guilty of driving a Citroen at 61mph in a 30mph zone. He was fined £400, banned from driving for six months, told to pay £85 costs and a £40 surcharge;

Steven Cranstoun (52) of Welbeck Street, Mansfield, admitted failing to providing a breath test and was fined £145, banned from driving for three years, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.

Drugs

Matthew Steven Topley (24) of Farrendale Close, Forest Town, admitted being in possession of cocaine and was fined £150, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.

Drink driving

Alexandru Huma (23) of Prospect Street, Mansfield, admitted having 57mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while driving a Ford Focus. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He also admitted driving without insurance. He was fined £300, banned from driving for 15 months and made to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge;

Harley Fox (23) of Sutton Road, Huthwaite, admitted having 52mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while driving a Land Rover. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was given a community order with curfew requirement, banned from driving for 16 months, made to pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge.

Miscellaneous

Luke John Green (26) of Stevenson Crescent, Sutton, admitted being drunk and disorderly on Mansfield’s Clumber Street and was find £75, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.
