THE remains of a body have been found by officers searching dense undergrowth following the discovery of a human skull in the Pleasley/New Houghton area.

On Saturday afternoon, a man was walking his dog and found what was thought to be part of a human skull.

An area of rough land was cordoned off while officers carried out a search.
