A 60-year-old man charged with the murder of a Rainworth pensioner has been further remanded into custody.
Jeffrey Burton, of Pearl Close, Rainworth, is accused of killing 70-year-old Harry Raymond Tindall, also of Pearl Close.
Mr Tindall was found collapsed in Pearl Close around midday on Boxing Day.
A Home Office post-mortem examination confirmed he had died from a stab wound to the chest.
Burton, who did not appear before court on Friday due to ill health, is set to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday 11th January.
