Pubs close early in Mansfield and Ashfield amid reports of major disorder

Several pubs have closed early in Mansfield and Ashfield this evening amid reports of major disorder in the town.

Residents say there is currently a ‘massive’ police presence in the towns, with reports of multiple injuries and several arrests.

The pubs that are reported to have been closed include The Devonshire and the Nag’s Head in Sutton-in-Ashfield, the Jug & Glass in Mansfield Woodhouse and The Swan and The Ravensdale in Mansfield.

Nottinghamshire Police have yet to comment on the reports.
