Police update after woman found dead in Farnsfield

Detectives investigating the discovery of a woman’s body in a house in Farnsfield have confirmed that her death is not being treated as suspicious.

A scene has been in place in the house in Green Vale since Friday and it is due to be lifted on Sunday.

Detective Inspector Rich Monk, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our investigations into this incident have concluded the woman’s death was not suspicious.

Nottinghamshire Police offered condolences to the woman's family.

“Our sympathies are with her family at this sad time."

He thanked residents for their cooperation.
